HTC Thunderbolt unofficial Android 2.3.4 update:Gingerbread Download
This is a really good news for which want to update the HTC Thunderbolt to Android 2.3.4, at first please download the rom and the radio. The leaked Gingerbread is now can download for rooted users, the XDA member had tested this unofficial update software, work well, but it seems that the camera will not work after this update. NOTE: If you download the below zip fileversion is 1.2, youâll also have to flash this file to fix activation.
How to update your HTC Thunderbolt to Android 2.3.4?
1.Rename PG05IMG_gingerradio.zip as new name PG05IMG.zip and drop it onto the root of your SD Card.
2.Put mecha_gingerjane.zip onto the root of your SD Card
3.Boot into recovery
4.Do a Nandroid Backup!

Motorola Defy android 2.3.3 update rom leaked
The “45.0.85.mb525.orange.wn.GB” file was leaked on xda-developers, you can download it and using it update your Motorola Defy from android 2.1 to 2.3.3, but I must state that this Motorola Defy’s free update installation package is not from official, it will help you to fix some error, more list of major bugs below:
- 720p video recording does not work
- Data Manager does not show the volume of traffic
- Signal problem (calls and SMS seem to work, but âsearching for signalâ warning appears often and phone gets hot)

First something we must tell you, the custom VillainROM 1.0 is not an offical ROM, on XDA developers forum, some fans are exploring this issue, while you download and install this custom ROM with your Samsung Galaxy S 2, it seem will help you to add more custom functionalities to the software, the ROM has been tested by XDA, we can’t test this personally, because don’t have an SGS2.
