According to Engadget.com, LG will release a new android smartphone named LG LU2300 in Korea, this LU2300 is another name of the android device LG GW620, but not exactly the same as the GW620, there are some improvements on the LU2300, Telecoms Korea give us some specs of this upcoming android phone,such as run android 2.1,1GHz Snapdragon processer,a WVGA AMOLED display and a 5 megapixel camera which allow you capture 720p video. that sounds great, and it will certainly be a strong competitor to other android and non-android handsets. -android news

This is a small tutorial for who don’t like the default ringtones and notifications on LG GW620 android phone, in fact you can transfer your favorite ringtones to your LG GW620, so far we know 14 default tones available for the LG GW620, want to set them to a custom ringtone? it’s easy, please install the LG GW620 usb driver and hook up the LG GW620 Eve/Etna to your pc, and enable mass storage. Make /media/audio/ringtones in the root of the sd card.
Place your ringtones there.
- /media/audio/notifications is where custom notifications such as SMS alerts, emails, etc
- /media/audio/alarms is for custom alarm tones.
- /media/audio/ringtones is for sound files you want to use as ringtones
Now you must to reboot your LG GW620 to see them, file will show up as whatever is in the tag info not the filename, change the favorite ringtones as the custom ringtone.
